SALARYMAN PROJECTシリーズのコンセプトをブルーノ氏自身は以下のように述べています。
「サラリーマンプロジェクトは、ストリートフォトに対して起こる肖像権の問題に関するフォトエッセーです。
東京の季節の移り変わりを観察しながら、また、公共スペース、プライバシー、被写体の観念を捉えながら、サラリーマンの匿名でのポートレートを作ります。
インターネット以外のフォーマットでは、B5サイズの1年もののビジネススケジューラーと
写真展用のプリントで用意しています。」
”A Salaryman (Japanese word made from the english salary+man) is a Japanese
office worker.
In the Japanese society, the salaryman represents the archetypal normality.
The Salaryman Project is an ongoing work about the increasing tensions
between the practice of street photography and portrait rights. While
documenting on Tokyo's unidentified salaryman and the turn of the seasons,
so important to the Japanese mind, I play with the blurry notions of
public space, privacy, subject of a photo.
The printed work comes in the form of a B5 size one-year business scheduler
and exhibition prints.”
